Engaged Weddings

Charles and Claire met in Birmingham in 2019. He was a med student at UAB while she was a graphic designer in town. Their first date was at the Atomic Lounge and they hit it off immediately. Their wedding was at the Donnelly house and it could not have been more perfect. We asked Claire what her favorite part of her wedding was and she said, “Some of our favorite parts (aside from the glorious crisp weather) were the leaves of the dogwood trees just beginning to change for fall, the intimate setting of our courtyard ceremony, and everyone who traveled from far and wide to help us celebrate!” They have now moved to New Orleans and we are excited about what the future holds for the both of them!!

“You’re engaged! This is such a sweet time. To help navigate all the decisions, I tried to remember this (as heard on a podcast): “If you find something you like, go with it! Make the decision, stick to it, and let yourself move on. That way you can better avoid agonizing over every little thing, always wondering if there’s something better out there.” Oh, and use EWL!! My mom and I will sing their praises to anyone who will listen. Their experience was invaluable and we loved working with them!”
