Phillip and Emily met at church and quickly became very close friends. They enjoyed all the same things and hung out a lot, but never thought that they would date! They really enjoyed Hinkel's Bakery cinnamon rolls at Pepper Place, walks around Railroad Park, and trying every new restaurant in Birmingham. After more than two years as best friends, they decided to give dating a try and very quickly knew that they wanted to spend their lives together! They wanted their wedding day to be a big celebration with all of their people! Having friends and family from all over the map come to Birmingham was so special to them. We asked them what their favorite part of their wedding was and they said, “We celebrated with light-up shoes on the dance floor, Hinkel's cinnamon rolls as a late-night pass, a bridal party ride on the Struggle Bus, and a disco ball at The Fennec! We are so grateful to each of our vendors for helping make our day so special - we will be talking about wedding day for the rest of our lives!”
