Sarah Grace & Owen
October 12, 2024
Sarah Grace and Owen’s wedding day was simply beautiful. From the heartfelt ceremony to the thoughtfully planned details and the lively reception, every moment was pure magic. It was an honor to be part of such a stunning day, and we wish these two a lifetime of happiness!
A little about these sweet newlyweds from Sarah Grace- “We first met, if you can believe it, thanks to my little brother! Graham attended Rhodes College in Memphis and played on the men's basketball team as a freshman. I was excited to learn that his team would be traveling to play in Birmingham, where I was in school. My mom and I enjoyed watching his game and were later invited to the team dinner! By the end of the evening, the tall, handsome, senior team captain (who was a favorite of my brother's) sat down in the empty chair next to me and struck up a conversation. Owen and I laughed and talked easily that first evening about our lives and mutual friends. There seemed to be an instant connection! We kept in contact and I later visited Owen in Memphis. Feelings developed quickly for both of us, despite the inability to spend lots of time together in person. We'll be forever grateful for FaceTime! Trips between Birmingham, Memphis, Sandestin, Huntsville, and Atlanta consumed our weekends for 2.5 years until Owen finally moved to Birmingham to be with me permanently. After having spent those years apart, we are overjoyed to get to spend the rest of our lives together, Owen and I are loving married life!”
“We just recently moved into our first house and are getting settled in. Married life isn’t all that different from when we were dating, but I will say our bond is definitely stronger. Our favorite part from the wedding day was our first look. I was so anxious all morning but seeing him made me feel instantly calm. It was special to have that moment just the two of us — I highly recommend! We also had so much fun dancing with our friends and family all night!”
“For future brides — I would just remind them to do their best to take it all in. After months and months of planning the wedding day itself goes by so fast!”
