Mary Katherine and Will’s wedding day was one we will never forget, and we are so excited to share more of the amazing details!

A little about these sweet newlyweds and their wedding from Mary Katherine- “Will and I didn’t grow up in Birmingham, but both of us have been here so long, we consider it home. Since most of our guests were coming from out of town, we wanted to incorporate Birmingham into our wedding day. We held our rehearsal dinner at Clubhouse on Highland, with The Bright Star catering. Our reception was at The Club and the venue offered an amazing view of the city. So many guests commented on how beautiful it was!

The highlight of the day for us was definitely the dance floor! My mom surprised me with a choreographed dance to Dancing Queen, performed by her, my sister, and her friends. It kicked off the dancing and set the tone for a night full of fun! Nationwide Coverage was incredible, playing everything from Amarillo by Morning to Pink Pony Club, and we had the best time dancing with our friends and family. Even my 91-year-old grandmother joined in! When you’re planning your wedding, you’ll hear a lot about how the day is about you and your partner, and while that’s true, you’re throwing a party for your friends and family. Will and I have attended countless weddings over the last 10 years, and the ones we’ve enjoyed most are the ones that really made it fun for the guests.”

It’s safe to say, this wedding was so exciting to be a part of. Our favorite detail had to be the surprise dance from Mary Katherine’s mom (check out the Reel of this performance on our Instagram!) Will and Mary Katherine are so sweet together, and we were honored to play a role in their special day. Here’s to Mr. and Mrs. Thompson!
