Blake and Jessie met at Black Market Bar & Grill on New Year’s Eve going into 2020. Blake got Jessie’s number from a friend that night and texted her the next day. They went on their first date a few days later and have been together ever since! They currently live in Vestavia with their 2-year-old golden retriever, Roo, and are loving married life. We asked Jessie what her favorite part of their wedding day was and she said, “My favorite part was getting to marry my best friend while being surrounded by all our closest friends and family! It is the one time in your life that everyone you love is in one place and it was so special to have them all there to celebrate with us, as we committed our lives to each other. We wanted a weekend to remember, and it truly was one we will never forget.”

“My advice for any future engaged bride, try not to stress over the small things. Things are not going to go perfectly, but for us, the imperfections made it perfect. The things that went wrong are some of my favorite memories of our wedding day. I would have been lost without Engaged Library. I am not a planner and get overwhelmed easily. Engaged made the planning process manageable and fun. We had an excellent lineup of vendors that we were able to share our vision with and they made our dreams come to life. It really was the best day of our lives and it would not have been possible without all our vendors and Engaged Library.”
