Payton and Erin met at La Paz in June 2021 and were engaged by April 2022. They both knew very quickly that they wanted to spend their lives together. They now live in the Greystone area with their two dogs. They enjoy spending the summer weekends at Lake Martin, watching college football (Georgia and Auburn games are watched separately, as Erin is a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan and he's an avid Auburn fan), and spending time with friends and family. Payton and Erin were so honored that so many of their loved ones attended their wedding and helped them celebrate, and they will cherish those memories for the rest of their lives. They kept their wedding to around 150 people so that they were able to chat with everyone, and being able to do so was the highlight of their day. We love the Gardners!!

“My biggest piece of advice for wedding planning is to try not to get overwhelmed with all of the small decisions you have to make for your wedding day. There are many things that people will ask you about, so if you get overwhelmed, take a few days to get back to vendors. My other biggest piece of advice is to try your best to see the whole venue on the day of the wedding. You worked so hard to plan such a gorgeous event, and you don’t want to miss out on the fruits of your labor!
