Symone Shaw
owner
After graduating from Troy University with a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Sport & Tourism Management, Symone started event planning internships with multiple Birmingham-based wedding planning companies. These popular companies taught her the unique intricacies of the event industry and what it truly takes to be a successful event coordinator. Shortly after the completion of her internships, she accepted a position at the historic event venue, Events at Haven, as an Event Coordinator. With almost 10 years of first hand event experience under her belt, Symone is an expert when it comes to all things weddings! In her free time you can find her at Windwood Equestrian training for Dressage shows or spending time with her fiancé Daniel & fur baby Beans!

SIDNEY NOMBERG
lead wedding planner & operations manager
Sidney grew up with a planner in her backpack since she was in the 3rd grade and has had organization fever ever since then. After interning with graphic designers in college who worked in the wedding industry, she fell in love with the idea of getting to help brides plan for their most special day! Graduating with a bachelor of fine arts in studio art from Birmingham-Southern College in 2018, Sidney has been working for Engaged as a wedding planner and vendor expert. Sidney loves spending her time outside of the wedding world checking out all the fun things that Birmingham has to offer, working out at her favorite pilates or boxing class & grabbing ice cream or coffee with her friends.

Amanda Sinclair
office assistant & assistant planner
Amanda is a Moody native and graduated from Auburn University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Amanda works full-time at Engaged as our Social Media Manager and Assistant Librarian. While she found her love for planning when she planned her own wedding in 2022, Amanda’s love for weddings goes way back. She remembers growing up watching wedding videos on YouTube and daydreaming for her own wedding day- and because she was able to have the wedding of her dreams, she is motivated and excited to help our brides have their perfect day also! Amanda loves traveling, baking, and most of the time can be found at the local Chick-fil-A. Her attention to detail and creativity are unmatched, and she is so thrilled to continue her career with us!
