How do I kindly say no to kids attending my wedding?

If you are wanting your wedding to be an adults only celebration, here are some polite and subtle ways to let your guests know!

  1. Put an FAQ on your Wedding Website: Question: Are Kids Allowed? Answer: Due to our limited venue space, we are having an ‘adults only’ celebration’ or ‘We thought you would like the night off, so we are having an adults-only wedding celebration!’

  2. Add a line on your Response/RSVP Card: “We have reserved ___ seats for you” to make sure they know how many people they are to bring to your big day!

  3. Personalize Each Response/RSVP Card: Add your guests names printed on each RSVP card, so it is clear who can accept the invitation!

  4. For the ones that may not understand, make a phone call to explain! It’s better they be prepared ahead of time with babysitters or overnight accommodations.
